    A note to old forum members...
    I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

    Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

    Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

    If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

    If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Man I love KZ1000's and it's on my list of bikes I want. I was looking for one when I found a great deal on my current GS1000. I want to keep the GS1000 for my daily rider and build the KZ into a drag bike.
 
downloaded the file but didn't let me view it. i'm gonna try to doanload it on my other computer.
 
hi guys, just wanted to say that i downloaded the file but can't open it. i'm i doing something wrong? help please.
 
well, i traced the coil wires down to the cdi box, shame its sealed and i don't think it can be tested.....but i did see a two inch crack on the bottom of it. don't know if that could have cause the problem with the # 2-3 coil not giving any spark. don't know. anyone have one of these that would like to sell??

If you have the part number off the box send it to me. I have one off a 1000 but not sure if it will work or not.

Hi Mr. awaselito,

Are you referring to the 550 manual from my website? If so, you need two things, the Adobe PDF reader and the password for the file - iwillnotsell.

hi, well, the lable rubbed off so i don't know the part #. but. hopfuly someone here would know if that would work on this bike. thanks.

anyone with a cdi box? hay doctorgonzo, how much for that box. if you want i can let you know the colors of the wires going in the box??? i do know their are 6 wires going in the box. let me know. thanks. anyone???
