1981 Suzuki GS550 T Carb Aftermarket

I need a Stage 3 carb kit for my 81' GS550. It doesn't seem there are any made specifically for that model. What I was wondering if anyone knew any other bikes that used the same carb and/or a known compatible kit. I've looked and looked, but no avail.

The 78-80' is a different carb and is the same as a 650 Kawasaki and the 83 on used a dual throat carb.

Alternatively if someone knows the sizes and the parts I could pick up loose, that would work too.

Any thoughts let me know.

Get the GS550M kit, that bike has the exact same drivetrain and carbs as your bike.

I've found some sites that sell carb parts loose, what I don't know is the new sizes I would need for a Stage 3 mixture level.

Has anyone put together an equivalent kit on their on that knows the sizing for all the components? -- Dynojet doesn't list them for obvious reasons.

I've read that its around a 30 point increase for the main jet, but other than that I haven't been able to find anything useful.

get the above kit as mentioned, it's what you need. I have one on my girlfriends 550t right now and have put 15,000 miles on it with it.

You also have to get the K&n filter that go with it, otherwise you will just be wasting your time trying to get the bike to run right.

Do search there is all the info you need for the 550 on this site.
