A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

plus I have an issue with one of the side panels, the nub is on crooked, so I can't put the bloody thing on......@$%@#%@#$%#@$%#

time to go......

Thanks

blue if you wish, but they turn white as well, 3 position switch, blue/white/off a set of driving lights if you will....better night time visibility, but can't hurt during the day as well...

based on the size of the housing, I might not keep them on the bike, just a touch too bike, or I have to find a different way of mounting them, make them less noticeable..

What I want is a couple of big air horns mounted somewhere around there. These damned drivers and their cell phones are driving me nuts ! Those 4 fender bolts are the primary reason I'm getting some ratchet wrenches the next time CT has them on sale.

Yeah bring it on GK, she's looking great! Tins are sweet, and those little black pinstripes and details are spot on :D

Can't wait to see her all complete and in the sun!

Very cool!Yeah getting those fender bolts on with the wheel in is near impossible IMHO.I just take the wheel off;)

Got back from my trip and rested up a little. Started where I left off on your thread and my smile got bigger and bigger the more I read.

It really looks good GK!

Thank you everyone.......

Still a bit to go, and a few more tweaks, and she will be road worthy for sure...had a wedding today to go to, so tomorrow before work starts, hopefully I can get a few things buttoned up still.

I really hate having to put it all together, and then have to take it apart, since there are still things to do, but I am itching to give her a spin....for sure...

the fender bolts were a real pain in the arse, but I finally got them all in, and I didn't remove the front wheel....a couple of hours on those puppies,,,,talk about a time waster....

the pin stripes are actually some black vinyl I had kicking around, I cut it into strips and thew it onto the bike, beat buying pin stripping at the store, it should hold up for a while....

I am still thinking about painting all the tins black on the inside, so they will all come off once again......I think.....

Well that's it for now, tomorrow is another day......

.

Next time you know- fender bolts with wheel on = 2 hours. Removing wheel and putting on fender and wheel back on = 40 minutes.
Save the extra painting for winter- you live in Cananada! ...winter will be there in a few weeks . Enjoy bike riding while the weather is good:D. Work on vroom, vroom...
Save somethings for when it's too cold to ride :-\\\

No time for anything today.....We were at a wedding last night, had a great time, stayed late, and just got up......a few too many vodka and soda's.....

Find the wife's car has a flat tire, have to take it in to get that fixed, I can see the screw/nail that is the cause, so going to lose time to get that done, and I still have to go to work in about 3 hours.....

NO wrenching on the bike.....:(

but I will at least go and take a few pictures of the bike, it's nice outside, some sun is poking out, it's the least I can do, all but one panel is on the bike....just wish my setting was a bit nicer, could submit a few pics for BOM....hey just for $hits and giggles.....:D I have a beautiful place down by the lake, or an old historian house as well, maybe nce I actually ride the bike I will take some pics there as well...

Well off to the get the car fixed...

Cheers

it wasn't a full 2 hours for the fender bolts, but sure as heck felt like it...

got called into work early, so not much more could be done, I did manage to break the wires on the led blinkers I installed, so that will now need to be repaired, cheap Chinese crap.....I knew it wouldn't last, but I tried....

I did get the gas tank on, and connected, no fuel yet, but soon, and I also removed the driving lights I put on, I need to find a better way of mounting them, I was not 100% happy with where and how they were put on....

So close and then something happens.....

soon though.....
