    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Weather finally hit about 60 and sunny here today, before tanking tomorrow, again!
Welded a titled neck to her today and fabbed up and welded my M/C mount in place. Set it outside next to my other GS to see how much different the stance turned out. Couple inches lower, bout a foot and a couple longer.
Start cutting up my old 16 over springer next and building a new one from it.

Awesome progress man, This wonderful Va weather finally took a break, We still got a few inches left covering everything here... I will def. be talking to you to see what goodies you got left over from all your projects... Im dead center between Richmond and Charlottesville and can make it to Lynchburg in 2 hours

Always excellent to see something different. Will follow and enjoy :) That sounds orwellian or something. share and enjoy.

rgds,

those look really good!, most i have seen look like $hit!, but yours are looking so good i would like to ride one! hahaha
good work man:)

I used to run up that a way, a lot. Had a buddy that lived in Crozet. Lemme know what yer looking for. I live about mile and a half from exit 150 on 81.

Sunny and 50 here today, Drug the engine outside and gave it a scub-a-dub. 32 years of road junk is a thrill to get off.

Henry, I can not wait to see the "after" pictures. I do not doubt that it will be something totally perfect!

Tapered neck bearings showed up in the mail today. Started looking at making a neck stem for the springer and couldnt resist setting it up there just for giggles. Yeah, better start looking for ball fields to turn the thing around in.

I haven't checked this thread in a month or so. Really nice work you're doing. It's going to be a real head-turner.

Thanks Billy. Going to take me a little while to re-machine that springer though. It'll get there!

nice project you've got coming along. gonna be watching this one!

62 here today, so outside she went! Finished mudding up the frame and blew a couple coats of primer on the frame. Stripping the tank tomorrow and deciding how much Im cutting off the rear fender.
