A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Hi all! newbie here in need of some help! I scarred up the master cyl I have on my bike trying to get the piston unseized to rebuild. I dont think I can use it anymore, and I've been lookin on ebay for one and got "sniped" on a good one sunday night. I was wondering if anybody had some ideas like maybe one off a different make, and which ones will work with my brake light swith setup. I have some SS lines on the way from paragon performance also. This bike has been a project for the last two years and Im oh so close! She runs like the dickens, just cant stop her.

Wouldn't anything made to fit bars of the same OD work?

This is an interesting question because I'd like to replace my whole front brake lever & cylinder - the thing rattles like all hell (though that does serve to remind me to cover the brakes).

Most any master cyl will work. The 10mm banjo bolt seems to be the universal size The thing to look at is weather it is for a single or dual disk setup & the angle of the master cyl resivoir

The "L" models can't be used usually because the cylinder is tilted 45 degrees, the other sprot bike models should work as long as they are dual disk or single disk version ( depending on what you have now) the stroke volume is different and must match.

You could always buy a new one. Not cheap but brakes are important, ya know?

Yeah, the one I've got on my 750 (single disc) is from a T500! Has worked for years! :D
