    A note to old forum members...
    I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

    Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

    Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

    If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

    If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I posted a couple of questions a while back about the above bike. One reply requested a picture of the 650 after I painted the motor with wrinkle paint. If that person reads this please reply.

here's a shot of the 650. I bought it last year and thought just the forks were bent. Upon closer examination the frame was also hit pretty hard. Got another frame (with title) and proceeded to do the frame swap. Cleaned up the parts and started to put things back together. Still have to do some minor tweaking once the weather warms up. Started it up last Sunday to give the paint a "bake job" and check for any leaks. Still have to repair the left side cover.
STILL LOOKING FOR AN ORIGINAL GRAB BAR.

I would love to post pictures, but my dogs decided that my mini usb cable was a chew toy. I went to best buy to get a new one and they said it was a one off that they didn't carry. I'm still looking for one.

Nice bike! With that Vetter top case on, do you notice much effect on handling? I have an old Bates trunk i'm thinking of putting on, but I wonder about it hanging so far back.

I took the trunk off because I think it looks better without it and nobody rides with me anyway.When I need storage I put my sidecases on.otherwise there off too.I was thinking of taking the fairing off but I have a stero and I like cruzin around listening to it.I just added highway pegs and a tool pouch but its been to cold to take more pics.I didnt notice any difference when the trunk was on,so try and see if ya like it,you can always take it off if you dont.
