All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Yes that's true. I tried to get the shock centered in the swingarm as there is not a lot of room in front of or behind the shock. Just tried to minimize the chance of contact during travel

Lifts are a great thing.
Let alone easier on the back, my eyesight improved as well. lol.
Your wife bought it for you? Has she got any sisters?

Yes I am very lucky to have such a giving wife. Its makes it a lot easier to work on stuff. Today my brother is gonna help me get the engine up on it so I can replace some gaskets. And she does have a sister probably won't buy a lift. Lol

Finnaly got some warmer weather this week so i pushed it outside to get a look a it in the sun

Should get the block back next week hope to have it back in the bike next weekend.

you might want to try to make your seat like the corben seat cause with all that power it will be hard not to slide back

Yes Tom you are correct it was very hard to keep from sliding back when accelerating last year, so i did cut about an inch and a half out of the front half of the seat and im waiting for the wife to make the cover which so far has proven to be difficult. I may take it to the place i got the material from if she cant figure it out soon. Its kinda hard to fire the wife :) here is a pic of the cut seat i wanted to cut enough to hold me in place without loss of comfort

I got the engine bolted up and the shift linkage sorted without having to modify anything other than taking some bent out of the rod to line it up

IMG_20130414_202937_239_zps76d613f6.jpg

Also got the chain length figured out have to add two links but it lines up great. Tried to get it on by only adding one link but couldn't get the wheel far enough forward without the chain being too tight. So two it is with the wheel back farther than I wanted hopefully it will stretch a little and I can take one out.

I finally got exhaust sorted. The aluminum bracket I made needs a couple of ribs welded on for support. Will post pics of that when I get it back
