A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Damn it's hard finding headers that fit!!! I'm restoring my '83 GS750ES this winter and I'm having a hard time finding headers and muffler that is either in great shape and stock, or a similar looking compatible version. I want to keep the 4-2 system... I just like the look! Thanks!

Check out www.mivv.it re replacement silencers (sorry mufflers) , I've seen them fitted to a few bikes and they seem reasonable quality

I like the Laser alot. Have you heard of any issues accessing the oil filter or plug? I couldn't find a black version.. The Motad looks very elegant with the silver silencer.. But at over $525, it's too pricey.

Laser exhaust still makes a 4into 1 and also a stock looking exhaust You just have to look under GSX750ES Motad still makes a 4into1 you have to look under the GSX750ES also for them. 86-90 Oil cooled GSXR Headers will work also.
Hope that helps.

Do you want a recent pic. If you Email Laser , I bet they could do one in black for you. They have always been good to me. I have used there exhaust on many bikes...Always a little more money but they have lasted.
Performance is good to excellent.
I didn't get the Motad because The two exhaust I had before only lasted about 20thousand miles (5years) Then they got pin holes in the header pipes....It rains a lot in Oregon.

I donn't know about on the 750 but I've had both the Motad Neta system and a Stainles Laser 4 into 1 system on an 1100 katana sz .
The motad gives full access to the oil filter and drain plug and retains the centre stand.
The Laser system means you lose the centre stand , access to the oil drain plug is fine but it is a royal pain to change the filter. The cover plate comes off but the filter doesn't fit past the headers meaning that you have to loosen off the retaining bolts in the head and pull the headers forward.
If you can get a Black Chrome and Silver end can NETA I would go for that.

Laser On the 700/750 you don't loose the center stand and oil filter comes right out ......

Yeah, I eMailed them today and they haven't responded! Gosh darn it... Labor Day and everyone takes the day off

If they can do the headers in black, that would partially solve my issue.. I'd still love the 4 into 2 though....

I got an eMail from Motad this morning on their setup... It's NICE.. It could totally look cool on my '83 GS750ES. It has a biggish muffler which would give it that muscle-bike look. A little more expensive, but MAY be worth it. The other's I've been looking at have a too-generic look about them.

Anyone with experience with the Motad system? Any issues with accessing the oil filter/plug?
