If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

I've heard rumors from different people that the rear wheel from a 85 or 86 Madura 1200 "might" work on the back of a gs650. I've never been inside of a shaft driven motorcycle's rear hub, so I don't know how compatible they are with other Suzuki models. You can find a rear Madura wheel on ebay for around $150, but I found a guy on craigslist with one for $40.

Has anybody tried this before? or anything similar? I'm not too big on the mag wheels, and seeing as how they're shaft driven, Its pretty tricky to get custom wheels. Thanks for any help in advance.

Try it and let us know. If it doesn't work you can always sell them.

I have heard it's plug and play.

At $40, buy it- madura parts are hard to fine, so easy to resell.

Yeah, that's what i was thinking. i could get rid of it for at least 70 or something on ebay if it doesn't work. I'm also wanting to get a front wheel off a 75 Suzuki gt380 to put on it. I've seen someone else that has done it and it looks awesome!

Spokers

Spokers

It should fit just fine. Then you can re-lace them with wider 17" wheels.
Then you gots something totally different.

Thanks for the link! and did you do that write-up?
Yes I did.
Was it pretty simple when you swapped to the GS1100's wheels?
Yes practically plug and play. As explained, different spacers were required. You will probably need to do it in a similar fashion.
Good luck! :)

Should be the same as a wire spoked GS wheel?

the rear on a 850 or 1000 is almost bolt on.
The problem is the front hub and its bizzare rotors mounting, its really wide.
I bought a madura wheel set from quexpress, the rear is fitted, for the front i dont know if i will use a modifier gk front end or if i try to find a madura front end.
You can see the wheel in the second page.
