As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Hi there... strange i had to re register...

anyways

I got my hands on an old racing engine... i kept the cylinder block, wiseco high compression pistons, ported cylinder heads.

I got the heads cleaned up and rebuilt but unfortunately the cylinder block coming originally from a 750 (which has been obviously bored out to fit the 844 wiseco kit) is out of specification...around 69.9 to 70mm...and when i put the 2 top rings inside the gap is about 0.4 to 0.6mm...

I believe this is too much...i could be wrong though :)

so i was looking for another set of 750 jugs and bore it out to 69mm...$$$ or i thought about getting a set coming from a 850 still in a decent shape at standard bore 69mm.

First of all. is this set up going to work, 750 bottom end, 850 cylinder block, 844 wiseco high compression pistons, 750 cylinder heads?

Second what would be my next best option?

Thank you.
