I just got my carbs finished tonight and got them back in the bike. I completely disassembled and cleaned the carbs. I can get the bike to start and idle just fine, but it is staying at a high rpm after I blip the throttle. I adjusted the linkage, but still no luck. The throttle is smooth and quick back to position. I also replaced the intake o-rings, so no leaks. Checked just in case, but no leaks found. Also checked the airbox for leaks.Could this problem be from running rich or lean? I started the screws out 2 turns from in.
As a side note, I noticed something odd with the jets. Everything on this bike is stock, but the jets are not the specified sizes. The manual calls for a 95 and a 102.5 mains. Mine has a 90 and a 97.5. The other problem with this is that both bodies take the two different size mains. I have no idea which goes where! I can't seem to find a diagram in the manual or on a parts site that shows which goes where.
Why did suzuki have to make these crazy carbs??
