A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

A great new bike for those in the market FJ-09 2015

It looks like a great little bike and something along the lines of what I'd be interested in since I'm already liking the FJR1300's feel for me (only on the showroom floor, haven't had a chance to ride it yet). Sadly, I think the seat height will kill the deal for me as high as it is

Very nice, sensible tourer.

Good to see manufacturers offering so many great choices these days; something to fill just about everyone's lifestyle. Just wish one of the Big Four would develop a proper "learner" bike for US-based MSF schools (eg: Honda CG125) with low seat height, mid controls, narrow tank, and perhaps a roll cage :p

Ridding a motorcycle is coming back especially since the rise of gas prices. I'm 30 and when I started ridding 8 years ago I had only one other friend who rode a bike. Now I know at least 10 friends and family that own new or newer machines and allot of them are Yamaha's. I've considered an FZ-09 and the FJ-09 is the perfect replacement for the tired FZ1 line. But I want an upgrade in power delivery and the 850cc tripple isn't what I want. However I do know a buddy of mine is looking into trading in his 08 FZ6 for a new FJ-09. So many new types of bikes out now for so many more people are ridding compared to 10-15 years ago. Glad to see a lighter weight tourer out there now!

I do not get the busy "transformer" styling... It looks stupid, adds useless complexity/cost to the bike, and doesn't even do anything aerodynamically. IMO.

ED....Which S was yours? I noticed one has the 79 exhaust on it. And what bike was that with the Hulk and the 6 pot engine ( CBX engine? ).

Yeah, it's a shame but a lot of new bikes are styled that way. Freaking ugly, IMO.
Other than that though, the FJ checks all the boxes for me.

... I love the look! The FJ style is pulling the heart strings of the FZ guys. 2 of my friends first bikes were FZs and I LOVE the dual eye look of my FZ. Aimed for us guys who learned to love Motorcycles on bikes that looks similar. Circle headlight=old/classic/harley.

It's not the headlights, more the tightly folded origami look of the bodywork. Lots of guys like it, I'm just not one of them. :)

Got ya, I guess it takes a certain types of guys to like the yards of folded plastic. The dual H4 lights is awesome to have. My Fizzy put out more light then my car... But its been augmented and upgraded to HIDs.
Have you guys seen the Ducati scrambler... Here's one nice looking machine. Another bike that reasonably priced and I'm sure will be a great all rounder bike.

Then there is this bad-A$$ transformer, rocket engine, space shuttle, offspring, thing.... If you think the FJ is ugly you'll think this is hideously awesome...
