A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Did that caliper i sent show up yet??????
Sent it Saturday,Texas to the west coast of Canada. With Canada Post clearing a backlog after the strike. No it's not here yet.If we get lucky next week.BTW put a cheap calipers on the rotors,5mm:dancing:

May wish to recheck the measurements again...the service manual on bikecliff say the service limit is 6MM or below. New should be 6.5 to 6.9 MM Did youn use calipers that read MMs? If not you need to take whatever the SAE measurement it is and multiply by 25.4 to get the MM sizes. IE.. .125 X 25.4= 3.17MM

Check the E supplement,5mm with 4.5 service limit.the 6.9 and 6.5 are C rotor specs.

OK...i didnt scroll down to the supplimentals...didnt mean to alarm you. I didnt remember them even looking like they had any wear when i shipped them..The limits are good news then.

I was not alarmed in the least.somewhere(might even be in this thread) there was discussion of twin vs single rotors. The twins are thinner. These rotors are pretty much no wear.

Yes i have sent you the rotors..remember? I dont recall it taking a full week though. Then again, as you said, probably a HUGE backlog to go thru as well at this point. Just let me know when it arrives and that your happy with it.. thanks.

Put these on to.
Was talking to my wife saying I was happy that I had no real choice. She said I do,just not going with them.If it was mine she said it would be purple with hot pink stripes:hand::-&.It's a good thing she is never getting a bike of her own IMHO.

I am very happy that my husband was able to get the Skunk to work on over the winter. It will look very nice painted black and white! However if it was my bike I would paint it purple with bright pink stripes. He nearly had a fit when I mentioned it, but I am a woman and women like brighter colors then men do. I never suggested that he should paint it purple and pink, so I don't know what the big deal about it is!!!!!:?:

Well there is a parcel going to be at the PO tomorrow. Hope it's Rustybronco's fork legs:pray:.Chuck's caliper should be here soon to:pray:Went to the box here, key in mine.O good I thought. It was my wife's books:(
