All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Everything but the fried chicken goes in the tank bag. For all, the amount of power consumed by the device (GPS, iPhone, iPad, etc.) is all that the inverter will provide. Since we are protected overall by a 15A fuse, I seriously doubt that such small devices would cause such concerns. For example, when tuning I tuck all my tuning equipment in my tank bag and go for runs. No issues so far.

The tank bag is like my wife's purse...everything goes in it....

Our comm system, the cell phones, chap-stick, Tylenol, camera, MP3 player, hats, micro fiber cloth, Plexus, sunglasses, stuff...

I get it. Tank bag= Man purse for motorcyclist. It's a Good excuse to get a bike; Enabling one to carry a "purse" without feeling ashamed... LOL....
It looks very handy. I want one!

I've never heard of an SAE connector before! What is that?

It is the kind of a connectoe which comes on a Barrery Tender. It also comes on an Eclipse electric vest and a Gearz electric vest. I converted my Tourmaster vest, and Widder gloves to SAE connectors.

Here is a fused SAE connector fused battery harness:

Here is an adapter harness:

Nothing easier...

I use my heated vest and battery tender somewhat frequently. Therefore that is already on the bike.

I keep a tire pressure gauge and warmer/colder gloves, layers, water, band aides, multi tool, and whatever else I feel like. It is the first piece of luggage. I bring home groceries in it.

I laugh at the idea of buying and riding a 450 pound plus machine so that I can wear a back pack with my lunch in it. Much rather load up the bike than load up my person.

Pays your money and takes your choice. I bought a couple new Nelson Rigg strap on tank bags on line from Dennis Kirk outlet on E Bay. Fifty bucks each. I have a bunch of them.

Here is an Eclipse for 30 bucks. It is missing the rear bag, which I use for my wallet and change. You can buy Fastex buckles and nylon straps at any sporting goods/camping store. My recollection that real Fastex is compatible with Eclipse.
