Air filter box for 81 GS 1000 S

Hi guys, new to The world of GS motorcycles.I was wondering what other factory air boxes would work on on my 81 GS 1000 G I wanted to put a factory airbox in it. I have looked on eBay but they were none that were exactly put my bike so I was wondering if boxes from any other bike such as 750s or 1100 GS Boxes.
would work. Any help would be greatly appreciated

from an earlier GS 1000 such as 1978 or 1979 would fit my 1981. I was also wondering if that made any difference whether it's a GS 1000 G or GS 1000 E or GS 1100. Thank you

es anyone know if the airbox

Go to Partzilla.com (or similar) and look at the parts fishe. The chain drive airboxes are totally different from the shaft drive variants.
