A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Anyone know which airbox's will fit my bike.

I'm thinking since my old one is all beat to crap and cut up AND I may ditch the pods that I want to put another one in if anyone has one.

I know I'd have to cut it in half to fit it in the frame, also how would I go about manufacturing the boots from the airbox to the carbs.

 I shoulda kept it all stock.

Why would you have to cut it in half? Based on this picture, it looks like it just pops apart down the middle.

Based on what I am seeing here it looks like it just pops apart in the middle and then by removing the mudguard and maybe pushing the rear tire back you can probably slide it up from the bottom.

At least that's how I'm doing my air box on my 550 right now.

You have me there. Some ass hole glued mine down the middle then, I thought it was factory glued since it wouldn't pull apart, so I ended up having to cut it out.

Will most airboxes of a 750 fit ya think?

I however don't have figures 5-7, mine never came with it.

According to what I found, the only airboxes that will fit is '85 700 E and '85 700 ES. :)

As I have a few of these around I can tell you they do not just pop aprt. They are glued from the factory.not any wussy glue either.Because Ranger and I where trying to work a deal before he aked me if I had one.I do,shipping to the States killed the deal:(
