A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is for placing reviews for parts, accessories, gear and service as it relates to your GS motorcycle. The key here is "GS Related". There is a bit of latitude here but we don't want to see a review on Maytag washers just because that's what you use to clean your riding jacket in.

Keep your review as factual as possible and please refrain from personal attacks. Posted articles will be reviewed by the Editors and may be removed at their discretion.

So let's make this a useful addition to the forum! A special pat on the back goes to Hap Call for coming up with this great idea.

The views expressed in this forum are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of "The GSResources" or the editors.

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Today I went to see Yves Pelletier. It was my second time. This time I brought my camera.

The man has a barn loaded with dismantled bikes. And some not so dismantled yet.

Amazing place just to walk around in.

Sorry I took the pic without flash. If I had my camera would have died after two pictures.

EDIT: Just never mentioned where he is. He is in Drummondville, QC.

Rotors

Shelves upon shelves.

Clocks

Passengers grabbar. One of the reason I was there.

Clutches

Shocks

Starters

Hydraulic (Brake) hoses.

Thing-a-mabobs.

Carbs

Is it cataloged, or just lumped in object-specific spaces?

Everything is sorted as what it is. No catalog. Every part is marked with yellow or red paint markers. He is pretty knowledgeable too.

He as some new "Junk" as well. Unsold items bought in bulk...I guess.

Man if I went in there you wouldn't see me for days. Pretty nice resource to have in your area.

Wow. I never thought I would have a good reason to go to Quebec, looks like I was wrong.
im going to have to plan a trip.

How long has this guy been doing this? He can't possibly know everything he has there.

How long? I don't know. I am sure he told me. But don't remember.

No, there is no way he remembers all the parts he has. Or recognize everything either. I wanted some exhaust do-icky. You know those curved steel spacers that old the manifold in the engine. For my KZ440 well he gave me the wrong ones. He changed them when I came back. No arguments. But still. Make sure you know what you want and what it should look like;).
