A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is for placing reviews for parts, accessories, gear and service as it relates to your GS motorcycle. The key here is "GS Related". There is a bit of latitude here but we don't want to see a review on Maytag washers just because that's what you use to clean your riding jacket in.

Keep your review as factual as possible and please refrain from personal attacks. Posted articles will be reviewed by the Editors and may be removed at their discretion.

So let's make this a useful addition to the forum! A special pat on the back goes to Hap Call for coming up with this great idea.

The views expressed in this forum are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of "The GSResources" or the editors.

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Has anyone done business with this outfit? Been using their parts lookup and thats been awsome! I want to order some items for my GS1100L and would like to know if these guys are worth my money.

I have used them a couple of times. They're OK. No prob. Not a fly-by-night or garage business, but a real power sports dealership.

That said, they are the most expensive I've found, but they are dependable, helpful, etc. They even found NOS side covers for my 450 that according to their own website were discontinued and no longer available! Now that got my attention! :D

Outstanding. I did note the prices but they do seem to have items that I can't find anywhere else. In paticular the intake boots, mine are are in need of replacement. Been on Electrosports.com site looking at their electrics. Its kinda funny, I had the stator issue years ago and after replacing it the third time I rewound myself on the forth and haven't had any issues since. Wish I'd known about GSresources.com back then. :D

The way it went was like this...

I looked up side covers, their website popped up the message that they were discontinued/unavailable but I was too dense to notice that and ordered them anyway. A couple of weeks later I got side covers. They were unpainted instead of pre-painted blue and pinstriped, but by that time I'd figured out that no one had them anymore and was waiting for Alpha to notify me and refund my moola. Boy, did I get a surprise!

I like this cruze and shop thing. Found Cycle-Parts.com and there is a substandal saveings over alphasports...

Don't blow all your dough on parts...save some for gas!

I can relate to that. Gas just went over $3.00/gal here this morning. But, Bikes got to look good and run good too..

Any feelings on Cycle-Parts.com? Can't find them on the BBB lookup. Thats either good, nobodys reported a problem, or bad, they don't really exsist!

Their prices are good however.

Looks good to me.

I have just completed a fairly large order with them succesfully. It had many small items and they delivered all that I ordered, acurately. There was some delay on a couple of items that needed to be back ordered, but the customer service department was extremely helpful in getting those parts to me. I plan on putting another larger order in and will update after that is completed.

I too just recived my order from Cycle-Parts.com today. Kept it kinda small to check them out. Took advantage of their free ground shipping. Everything I ordered was there. They kept me informed via email on the statis of my order. I will do business with them again.
Thank you for your input!
