Just to try and make you spend some more money Jimmy, you know you can get a throttle with internal cables to match your electrics.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.
A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.
Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.
Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...
If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.
If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.
I think I just needed to vent, as they say in the States, or have a whinge as we say here! It's just a motorbike and I'll get it sorted.
Extreme beer testing is going well. I have found the need to augment it with advanced single malt appreciation. Laphroaig quarter cask is amazing. While Pete is right about Little Creatures I have developed a relationship with James Squire's ales, esp the 150 Lashes.
One idea I had about this bike was how cool would it look with a natural leather covered seat? That is something I may explore. I think it would complement the natural rubber grips really well, and be a little unusual. I don't like for things to be predictable.

Oh, and Pete - Laphroaig Quarter Cask can be hard to find and is very strongly flavoured. Not for the faint hearted! I got a couple of litre bottles (!) when coming back from overseas as it is so much cheaper duty free and easier to find - at least in Perth - in duty free shops than bottle shops.
The trouble with good scotch is that once you have tasted the good stuff it's hard to go back to the cheaper stuff. Laphroaig, Lagavulin, Tallisker etc have spoilt me so now I have trouble with Glenfiddich etc. Lagavulin is a big fave of mine. Soooo smoky.
As far as beers go, I like Little Critters but find that they all taste very similar. The 150 Lashes is great, and if you can find some on tap it's even better. The Squire Four Wives is excellent too. I recently discovered a great NZ pils - Hop Rocker. Love it.
man those pods look super sexy. i want them on mine!!! but the f*cking K&N site doesn't list my model as compatible with any pods.... however i KNOW I've seen my bike on ebay with a pod setup.
Unfortunately my frame comes in really tight to the carbs and I'm not sure ill fit em![]()
