A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I bought a 1978 Suzuki TS250. It is a street legal dual purpose Enduro. I need an original sized piston and rings for it. I contacted Weisco and their response was that it would not be cost effective to fix the bike. WOW. Can it really cost that much for these parts. Any other outlet for the parts? Local dealer only wants to sell new bikes and hates to order parts for older bikes so I'm still looking for parts. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Get a bike magazine a order through one of the discount parts houses.

Find another bike shop.....If yours won't order 'older' parts, find someone that will. I had a Suzi 90, 1972 model, and had plenty of shops willing to order the parts I needed for it. Yes, it won't be cheap, but if a shop is willing to help rather than say 'too old', forget the business with them.

Hi Bob, try Paul Miller Motorcycles. I've gotten parts from him for my 76 GT250 and know he advertises parts for the TS.
His email is:vintagesuzuki@attbi.com

A good magazine is Walneck's. It has a wide variety of different parts people in it.
Good luck on finding the parts you need. Don't give up, the parts are out there.

I haven't been in their shop since they told me to part out my Yamaha XT550 because the points were no longer available. Dealer 55 miles away had them in stock. Come to find out everybody had or could get them except for my local dealer. I hadn't thought of them yet. Sure sign of getting old.

I'll also check out the Paul Miller website. I'm always looking for parts on line dealers for all kinds of parts. If I don't find what I'm looking for I'll try the Walnecks magazine. Thanks for the ideas.
