    A note to old forum members...
    I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

    Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

    Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

    If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

    If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

anybody need clutch springs?

well, guys, here it is. i posted this in the parts section, but no takers yet, so.....

i have 3 ebc clutch springs leftover for my 78 gs 750, they will fit other models (ex, early 1000's, and others.) they are new, and i offer them for free to anyone who wants them.

i went with 3 ebc and 3 stock, my clutch slip is gone, gone, gone, and lever feel is good, i dont really notice a difference from before.

so, first pm gets em, my small contribution to the community.

surely, someones clutch is slipping a bit?

Thanks so much. I too have just given stuff away locally rather than have it collect dust in my garage. I will start listing stuff for the GS1150 and GS1100 that I don't need. Very rare I will ever use it, so someone else
can enjoy.

Same here, I've sent small items to people for little more than shipping, sometimes I even take care of the shipping. I rebuilt a set of carbs for a guy last year for free and took care of return shipping. I need to go through my parts and list what I have. Some of it I'll give away and other stuff I'll sell.
 
Yep Billy Ricks, it is people on this site that have the greatest impact
and have given me back 10-fold. So it is only essential that I give back
to others in the chain of GS brotherhood.

And besides, I would rather give away free to someone who will appreciate it then sell for profit on Ebay to someone less enthusiastic.

I'll list it, and whomever wants it, it is their's complimentary.
