A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Nice 4 hour ride yesterday. Went from Greenville NC to Durham NC.
Got to see a bunch of awesome bikes at the Bull City Rumble.

Bike behaved, and ran like a charm. All the tools and parts I brought along weren't needed. Haha.

I got my baby back. The wife and I got out for a blast today. I almost blew her off the vmax when I passed her with that nasty dump pipe. She says I need a better muffler. Lol

I went for a ride this evening on my 1000SN. Ran across suzuki_dog (Joe) and his 1980 1000S. We had a nice first time meeting and motorcycle discussion while admiring each other's Cooley's. Afterword, I stopped along the way home to take advantage of some nice evening light. I totally blew getting a shot of the bikes together. Next time!

Have been riding to work all dry days since last Tuesday. Now it's time to get some more work done on all the other projects that have been neglected recently. gs550.jpg

Went for a fun little spin around my new town. It was a fun and quiet ride with no traffic or drama... I'm going to love it here!!!!

Have you been up the Westside highway yet? Fun riding, but be careful...there are some serious tar snakes and crevasses out there.

Haven't been far from Chase yet, way too much work to do with setting up the house. I have a good buddy who lives across the golf course from me who knows the area really well. Next year will see some good exploring for me.

Trevor, I'm heading back to Victoria for some appointments on the 8th and 9th... good timing eh! Rob told me you guys were coming through here on those days. Wish I could have been here. Would love another trip through the Dreamcycle museum.

Short 40 mile ride today taking Charmayne to marching band practice, down to Middletown Cycle to get my cylinder head cover gaskets, over to the garage to put them away until my valve adjustment this weekend and then picked her up after practice finished. Did you know those gaskets won't fit in a set of saddle bags? I figured they could but discovered quickly that half of the package flopped around in the open air. Fortunately I took the back roads and didn't have to deal with a lot of speed so they stayed together in one piece.

Funny thing at Middletown Cycle - one of the parts guys (early 20s) was curious as to my bike since, in his words, he's only ever seen that style of gasket on cars. He was pleasantly surprised and acted as though he liked the bike.

Two weekends ago with Storm 64. I thought it was hilarious there were three options, all of which were for Regular gas.
