DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

the bridge to vermont from crown point. had that annoying grooved pavement that makes the bike feel squishy.

the ducati xdiavel i experienced at the demo rides at loudon. the ride leader was on a busa. myself and some other gsr members were able to stay right with him on these monstrosities. sick fast bike, capable of murder.

and a nice little waterfall near my camping spot in the adirondack mountains on the way home.

Eli, Lurch and I had a very spirited Demo ride on the Xdiavel... Holy crap.

Glad you made it home safe my friend! It was great to rack close to 500 miles together!

Been to hot to ride much here and I don't much care for night riding. AZ is even worse right now.

Las Cruces? Right on the border, it's gotta be HOT.
Me, night riding or driving, like black ink. When it's raining, like you're driving on the bottom of the ocean. In the city, all artificial lighting…ugly, yellow as pis.
However, under a full moon on an interstate through Indiana I was alone enough to switch off the headlights for a few miles, that was fantastic!

We're in the middle of winter here in Perth, 5 degrees Celcius and a bit brisk riding though the Perth hills today.
I was introduced to a set of hills they call the roller coaster, you basically start on a country winding road and then a hill pops up in front of you, next thing you're over the top and the ground falls away from you. It widens out and you have a clear view of the hill opposite. Problem is the road just goes down and down, until you hit the bottom and start climbing again. At the top you almost go weightless going over the too and start going down again. I got the GS850 up to 169 kph and then remembered , "Oh, I'm supposed to be running this new motor in."
I'm going back there with the Hayabusa next weekend and see if I can do the magical top speed.
We went with a hunch of riders from the Perth Cafe Racers, and hit the gourmet pie shop outside of Northam, into Toodjay and then down into the vineyard area of the Swan valley for a feed and beer. Great day out on the GS850, a few little teething problems like, a oil persistent leak, lost a red reflector off the tail section, and a dodgy mirror that won't stay tight.

I have the same with mine. Some cushioning rubber matting or carpet underlay between the top of the speedo and the fairing accounts for quite a bit of noise. Just look at see the wear on the speedo.

Greetings

I can just imagine how hot it is there in Cruces. But I still prefer that over heat and Humidity like here in Jacksonville, FL.

I'm back in Florida for my bday and it's hot/humid as b*lls. Beach time and craft beer, I'm lovin' just hangin' out! Going home with Maple Bacon Coffee Porter and French Toast from Funky Buddha brewery!

Riding the Kanc NH112 you can see Eli bringing up the rear... This was last week on our NE GSR Rally...

After about an hour of riding... (50ish miles) I'm beginning to think I stole this thing... Man, runs like a top, crazy comfy and it's frickin' gorgeous to look at.

It has been dry around here....good for haying and riding. Today on the ridge with the vintage bike. How many views and riders have our old bikes seen and been ridden by over the last 33 years?
