A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

Does riding and leaning in the car count? I was on a gorgeous winding road in Tennessee this morning - State hwy 230 - and spent the entire 10-20 miles leaning from one side of the car to the other. I’d like to go check it and any others down there out on the bike some day

Funny you mention that. The other day my son and I were in my work van and we pulled halfway out into an intersection waiting to turn left. The oncoming turn lane had a car doing the same thing, waiting for traffic to clear but he couldn't see around us. Without thinking, my son leaned over to let the oncoming left Turner see around him. Pointless move because the van, not his body, was obstructing the view. He just gave me funny duh like look and chuckled a bit.

I find myself incorporating many riding habits, such as leaning, into my driving. Muscle memory, wishful thinking, or just practicing for later on, whatever it is usually brings a smile to my face.

Here's a little known GSRs fact. Thats my last name. Quite a coincidence ? Not really. As unique and uncommon as you may think the Biggerstaff name is its actually quite common. Ive run across some that live near me that Im not related to. I did a VA cemetery search once and there were 100s. Even here at the big VA cemetery where my Dad is there are several other Biggerstaffs that I'm not related to.

BTW Downs.....Downs is the last name of my wife's kids (her first husband) and their Dad lives in TX......

Then Scooted home and parked the PIG and grabbed the TUX... The TU250X is by far the better bike... went up into the mountains and grabbed my shot for the pic of the week game.

Yes, and I froze my butt off! I rode my wife's Honda CBR300RA home from its winter storage location (Mom's garage). It was only a 40 minute ride but the temperature was around 1C, so let's just say I was happy to get home.

Bring on the warm spring weather!

Come Rain, sleet and Snow... Jedz will rack miles! 32' Changing from rain to snow I did manage to rack 100 miles yesterday. Warmer today in the 50's but soaking rains, I plan to hit the loopper around the southern side of lake Champlain after work,

WOW!! You need to move to a state better suited to year round riding, PRONTO!!

With the Florida jump start (which will likely become annual) I'm more than content with my VT riding! I haven't driven the truck for almost a week now!

4K miles so far this season! I'm pushing for a solid start this April! Might hit that 30K mile mark this year!

LOL Likely but I lived in the South... It's really not my cup of tea.
My Heart is in these Green Mountains, I also just bought a house I'm in love with too so... I'm not moving south for at least a few more decades.
Trust me the thought was running through my mind when I was riding in Florida last month.

J you're killin me again. I've been over that rt. 17 pass in my car and am here to say that riding it in this weather is motorcycle hero stuff.
