A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

... While we were there a guy pulled up in an old Mercedes and asked us in a good humour voice if "we were ready to step up to an 1100" lol.
Turns out he has a 82 GS1100 that he has owned for 20 years and done lots of cool things to it and might be ready to sell. He is gonna send some pic to me. I will keep you guys posted.
The people you meet on a GS eh?

Trevor, you KNOW that you want to. ;)

Yeah Eric you and I might know that but I don;t think my wife does. Remember, I bought my 750 in Sept. after 25 years between bikes and then I bought the project/parts bike in Jan. A 3rd bike in less than 9 months might be a tough sale!:(

I thought that you still had that HUGE/Empty garage?

Eric
Well the wife bought a new to her Acura and we still have her old one and then my Mazda my boy's quad and assorted toys etc. etc. it is getting full so if I'm going to pull the trigger it will have to be soon.:p

If she has two Acura's, you get to have 8 Suzuki's.
That is the law!!! ;)

True story. I always tell my friends ... "Don't think of it as a one-car garage. Think of it as a 4 motorcycle garage."

it may be just me, but from looking at the size of the helmets hanging off the mirrors, you nevada boys have some BIG heads.

Me and Mrs. old skool went riding today,2up round trip of 113 miles, stopped in Orville Ohio, mmmm Smuckers, had to get you a pic of that, then proceeded onto our primary mission, to go to what we feel is the best damn barbecue anywhere, in Columbia Ohio just south of Strasburg, a place called Hog Heaven, best pulled pork/ribs/brisket/chicken I ever eaten, been here several times, worth the trip no matter what you ride or drive. They also have an awesome fish sandwich, and calling it a sandwich is really only because they put a nice big bun on both sides of it, but the fillet is actually the size of the sole of my boot, too big to be called a sandwich. Anyway, here's some pics, hope you drool over the food. Sorry about the pics, camera phone, forgot the regular camera. Even with high winds today, still got 44mpg today.

Looks like a good reason for a ride.

I was the only Zuk there, the rest were all Hardley Damnitsons, there were about another 15 or more bikes around the side, and about another 10 or more had just pulled out, didn't take pics of all of them, but once you seen one....;)
Although, while we were there, a Katana pulled up, sat in the lot a few, I think saw the majority of the bikes, felt intimidated, (can only assume since he was a young kid) and left. His loss!
