A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is for placing reviews for parts, accessories, gear and service as it relates to your GS motorcycle. The key here is "GS Related". There is a bit of latitude here but we don't want to see a review on Maytag washers just because that's what you use to clean your riding jacket in.

Keep your review as factual as possible and please refrain from personal attacks. Posted articles will be reviewed by the Editors and may be removed at their discretion.

So let's make this a useful addition to the forum! A special pat on the back goes to Hap Call for coming up with this great idea.

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Anyone know of Canadian Online stores that offer free shipping?

Other than Canada's Motorcycle!

I need a new helmet ASAP, and Canada's Motorcycle doesn't have the one I want in stock. They won't be getting it in till next month.

I'm looking for an L2S OF569 SCAPE helmet in Matte Black, for somewhere around $110 - $120. If anyone knows a website that is currently stocking theses helmets, ships for free in Canada, and accepts Paypal, let me know.

The reason I'm in such a hurry is because the provincial government changed the regulations for motorcycle riders. As of June 18, anyone who has held a bike license for less than 3 years is required to wear a 3/4 or full face helmet. I picked out the LS2 from Canada's Motorcycle almost 2 months ago, but they weren't in stock. And still are not in stock. My time is running out and I don't want to shuck out the money for a different helmet that I don't particularly want.

Any help is appreciated!!

Ya, and good luck with this, Canadas Motorcycle is it, far as I know.

What province in Canada are you. It is not on your profile. Can't help you with your helmet choice, but I bought a full face helmet from REEVU. Love it. It comes with an adjustable mirror inside that enables the driver to look behind with a glance. It is subtle, but you know when there are cars coming up behind you, without even looking as the lights register in the mirror. The insides are removable for washing and they are DOT approved. Designed in Italy. Less than 400 including tax.

He's in Saskatchewan, I'm about to run into all these same regulations next week too.

Fyarl666, just pick a different helmet from Motorcycle super store, they ship fast.

Have you looked at modular helmets? That's what I got and I like it a lot!

Yeah I'm in Saskatchewan.

Instead of Canadas Motorcycle, I bought it from Motorcycle Superstore. Paid about $70 more than I would have with Canada's Motorcycle, but you know when you have your heart set on a certain thing? And then everything else you look at just looks like a huge piece of **** in comparison? That's how I've been with this helmet.

I've been gazing at this helmet with dewy eyes for the last two months, and now every other helmet I looked at just looks like a huge chunk of crap, or it's so freakin' expensive, there no possibility that I'd ever afford it.

Oh well, sucks to be me I guess. Hopefully the shipping time won't be more than a week.

Don't really know any other than Canada Motorcycle. If you want to check in the US, like other wrote, Motorcycle Superstore, STG gear and ExtremeSupply all have good deals.
