    A note to old forum members...
    I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

    Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

    Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is for placing reviews for parts, accessories, gear and service as it relates to your GS motorcycle. The key here is "GS Related". There is a bit of latitude here but we don't want to see a review on Maytag washers just because that's what you use to clean your riding jacket in.

    Keep your review as factual as possible and please refrain from personal attacks. Posted articles will be reviewed by the Editors and may be removed at their discretion.

    So let's make this a useful addition to the forum! A special pat on the back goes to Hap Call for coming up with this great idea.

  • Returning Visitors

    If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

    If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Could not put this is the deadbeat section for some reason could not post... anyway....

This is in touch to my painting project I had done over the winter I was looking for quotes of places and this one was one of the places I submited for a quote. I opened the original request via web and was asked to provide a pic of the pieces... I attached a PDF with pics that I had of parts like mine. I heard nothing... no biggie I went with a local guy here that did good work and was very responsive and gave me prompt service.

I posted in my quote with them saying basically...'went with local shop that was more responsive with me got what I needed done...' I then ended up getting some tossing messages back and forth about ' oh we asked you to provide pics and you did not' I did explain that I sent a file via the website with pics in it but never heard anything so I went elsewhere, their web site did not tell me it did not go through so I just figured they ignored me' I got nothing but vibe of bad attitude from these guys and just earmarked them to not get emails through... I was not going to say anything about it but I got yet another email today from them with again...

These guys are not someone I would recommend to anyone on here simply becuse they did not respond well and when I told them I went elsewhere I got nothing but crap from them. There is a certain respect that you would expect from a buisness and I did not get it from them. I'd stay away from these guys and will not be recommending them to my friends who need painting.

I deleted my link to my form with them unfortunately before I thought to copy and past it... maybe they will actually push something here who knows.

Perhaps someone else had better experience with them in the past but as for me I did not... End rant... *I do feel better now after getting this out* TY for reading
 
You have to PM Frank to add someone to the Deadbeat section and He researches the situation and puts them there if warranted.

It does sound like the business is aptly named.

sent PM to him on this... I tried to email them being 'the shop' and they do not have a contact email on their website... go figure... so I will jus tsee what frank has to say about them if he thinks it deems more looking into.
