DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Katman .........pics were posted to show that the downpipes in your own pic is totally different to stock bandit ones & i said i doubted it would fit a bandit so i guess as its so different its not a bandit pipe which would explain why you cant get it to fit

looks more like the exhaust of a water boiler to me mate :-s

fair enough, I would still like to see an 1100 with a bandit pipe on it.

I guess it is possible the pipe I tried off a bandit and the one I posted from an ad for a bandit pipe could be wrong.

YOu guys over in the UK deal with many more bandits then us in the West.

Tone,

Do you know if you can get stainless bandit pipes with seperate spiggets/spring setups. I am tired of halving to unbolt the header all the time.

I know V&H made some for their pro pipes I think for the GS. I am looking for a set of those as well.

Cheers,

Here in the uk i'd look to one of the aftermarket parts suppliers such as

http://www.mandp.co.uk/ or http://www.busters-accessories.co.uk/

i'm not sure wether they ship to the usa but theres plenty of choice there to give you some idea's

for preferance i'd look at the acroprovic exhausts first as the quality is a cut above the rest imo & they have the spring fittings, not a cheap option if you find you need to mod it though

Fellas, I went to the suzuki dealer to check out the Bandit 1200 exhaust. It had simular downtubes as the GS1100 and went into a 4 pipe collector with two on top and two on the bottom again simular to the V and H exhaust for the GS so I cant see it being much help in freeing up any ground clearance. Now the GSXR exhaust has a different configuration with the 4 into 2 into 1 which has the 4 exhust pipes almost flushed with the bottom. Now I can see this helping with clearance issues.

Is a bandit 1200 exhaust a 4-2-1? If so, what year should I be looking for?
