DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

I have a line on a 1250 bandit swingarm is it the same as the 1200?
This is for a 1100 SD upgrade 83.

I have the Katman swingarm kit but not sure about the 1250 item.

The only thing that is the same is they both use a 20mm pivot bolt. The 1250 arm is 23.25" long and 1.75" longer than the 1200 arm and takes the larger wheel axle so you need to use the Bandit 1250 rear wheel with it or a Busa or GSXR 1000/750 wheel. The 1200 arm is 21.50" long and uses the same size axle bolt as the GS1100/1150 20mm
Hope this helps
I prefer the 1250 arm because it allows you to use the newer wheels without the use of adapters and I like the added wheel base. The Katman kit will work because the pivot end is the same on both.

If you use the bandit suspension linkage and shock you can switch to mono shock fairly easy. I used the center stand bracket for the the pivot arm and weld a piece of square tubing with a piece of the tube cut away to a c channel for the top shock mount to the rear cradle brace
