DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

hey guys, did we ever find out if a 'bandit' header will fit onto a gs ? was a bit of talk about it a while ago but never got a definate answer....b.b. :D

I think the generation 1 headers fit but not the gen. 2. I bought a full system of unknown year for my 1100 and the headers did not fit. They are too short to clear the sump and the flanges are at a steeper angle than the GS head.

I did use the midpipe and can though 8) .

nah I tried, I got a set of bandit 12 headers, and when I received them they were smashed to bits, in a postal van accident or some such BS, I havnt got my money back from the postal service, they they did say they apoligise for the inconveniance. I bought a new pipe off ebay in the end, smart looking, they way next to nothing compared to the stock GS1150 Headers, I havnt put them on yet becouse Im still waing on my RAASK rear sets to come from the UK

I have bandit 1200 headers on my 850, they were modified to fit. Don't ask me what it entails, I took it off a parts bike.

The problem in trying to fit them to older generation GS models is port size and the size of the engine. '83 and up 700/750 models have the correct port size to use GSXR based pipes. The engines on what would be the last of the GS750 incarnations were more compact than prior models. There are many similarities between the '83 and up 750 and the first couple of generations of GSXRs.

I have 2gen Bandit 1200s header with a holeshot can on my, oh wait it's on my 2nd gen Bandit 1200s, never mind:)
