Okay, moving forward with my GSXR front end swap.
Have Triple Tree, and some risers to (hopefully) go on the top:
Top triple is '89 GSXR750 that has ign. mount ground off by PO, risers are off fleabay. All parts are aluminum.
Now when I'm placing the top of the riser over the tree to get a feel for spacing and where the holes might end up, I find a little interference with the where the bolt hole would come out:
(Hole placement is a darn close approximation, but not 100% precise)
Does anyone think this is going to be a problem? Should I cut and narrow the top of the riser to move the bolt holes in @ 1/4" so I'm not so close to the mounting holes for the gauge cluster?
Ideas? Comments? Suggestions?
