A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is for placing reviews for parts, accessories, gear and service as it relates to your GS motorcycle. The key here is "GS Related". There is a bit of latitude here but we don't want to see a review on Maytag washers just because that's what you use to clean your riding jacket in.

Keep your review as factual as possible and please refrain from personal attacks. Posted articles will be reviewed by the Editors and may be removed at their discretion.

So let's make this a useful addition to the forum! A special pat on the back goes to Hap Call for coming up with this great idea.

The views expressed in this forum are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of "The GSResources" or the editors.

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

UPDATE! I have completed the Chemtool Treatment on my GS850. The Bike Ran Like Crap during the Trial, Stalling and Rough Idle. It Runs Much better now, I think Berrymens Did Clean some Gunk out of the Carbs! :)

I guess the question is does it run much better now than it did BEFORE you put in the Berryman?

I think it does. It seems to idle smoother once warmed up. The Problem wasn't acceleration or Speed to begin with.

I had a post not long ago in the tech section where I had a clogged main or stuck slide from bad gas. Idled OK but would cut out at 25% throttle. I ran 4oz of B-12 Chemtool in a gallon of gas for a few minutes and the problem went away (mostly). Still hesitates a bit but I stored it right after that. I am sure it will go away when I ride it and blow the gunk out. Stuff is a miracle. We'll see if the rubber is goo when I unpack her in the spring.

In my younger days hangin' with "the King" at Graceland we used to get shot's of B-12. It cleaned me out okay but E said he hadda take a dunp. Never saw him agaain.
