    A Special Note about Email accounts!
    DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

    A note to old forum members...
    I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

    Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

    Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is for placing reviews for parts, accessories, gear and service as it relates to your GS motorcycle. The key here is "GS Related". There is a bit of latitude here but we don't want to see a review on Maytag washers just because that's what you use to clean your riding jacket in.

    Keep your review as factual as possible and please refrain from personal attacks. Posted articles will be reviewed by the Editors and may be removed at their discretion.

    So let's make this a useful addition to the forum! A special pat on the back goes to Hap Call for coming up with this great idea.

    The views expressed in this forum are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of "The GSResources" or the editors.

  • Returning Visitors

    If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

    If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Just got a part from them yesterday, took 1 day after i received tracking info, no issues whatsoever, id use them again over the local dealership

does anyone have a phone number for them? I hate dealing with online tech support....

Well, after contacting these nim-rods about my needle valve...UGH!! First of all, they had NO IDEA what I was talking about...I even sent them a pic!! They send me an e-mail, saying my VIN# is incorrect because it's not 17 digits!! Dumb-a$$es!! Soooo... I went to the chat help, they guy FINALLY looked at my pics...and then he states, "oh, that part is superceded, and must be dealt with a certified mechanic!" WTF?!? ARGH!!!!
I wrote them a pretty curt e-mail, saying about vin# and when the 17 digit was incorporated, and..if they DO sell a part that is NOT correct to a "T", they need to note that!! I also told them thier tech support really didnt know that much, and I knew more than they did, and that they should know what, why, and where these parts are.
BUt, on a positive side, the parts did come quickly. All I can say is, these carb parts a rarity, and it's getting much more difficult to get oem parts.

Another AAAAA+++++ for BB!

Another AAAAA+++++ for BB!

I ordered from them last month. Had the same experience I always do and in just over a week all my parts came short a few that were back ordered. They canceled my back order so I asked them why and they said the manufacturer could not give them an ETA. I told them I still wanted the part so they looked again and found that they are available now (not sure where, I assume elsewhere) and to add them back and they will credit my shipping.

It gets better.

I already had new stuff in my shopping cart for an oil cooler job I have coming up. I asked them how they wanted to handle it and they said to just add the parts back to my current list of new parts in my new order and they are sending it all to me with free shipping. This is precisely why I keep coming back. I deal with the people who take care of me. Thanks again Bike Bandit, you guys rock!

I forgot to mention that my order came in just under 5 days and everything was there this time plus free shipping.

Another home run for these guys. 8)
