A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is for placing reviews for parts, accessories, gear and service as it relates to your GS motorcycle. The key here is "GS Related". There is a bit of latitude here but we don't want to see a review on Maytag washers just because that's what you use to clean your riding jacket in.

Keep your review as factual as possible and please refrain from personal attacks. Posted articles will be reviewed by the Editors and may be removed at their discretion.

So let's make this a useful addition to the forum! A special pat on the back goes to Hap Call for coming up with this great idea.

The views expressed in this forum are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of "The GSResources" or the editors.

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Just used Bike Bandits live chat feature to ask about a billing problem that I thought I had. There ended up being no problem with the billing.

The whole process took 3 mins and my question was responded to very fast.

Very cool !!!!:)

I have used it a couple times myself, both with a billing issue, which they STILL screwed up, and then most recently I was sent two of the same part, (case emblems) when I had ordered two different parts. I will say, they were one number away from being the same, so I could understand the mistake, except the billing info was CORRECT, they just sent the wrong part. Taken care of quickly on this occasion, but the first dealing left me a little red faced. I had ordered a large amount of parts from them, in the neighbourhood of a couple "hundy sticks" (getting my ghetto on, sorry) Well, it didnt draft from my accnt for a couple weeks. Let me rewind, and also add the point that it for some reason it was a pain to get my order to go thru, but in the end it seemed to, and gave me a confirmation number. So, I gave the girl my confirmation number. She says no order was put together with that number. Well, no big deal, I would just order them again later. No hurry on em, i needed to wait for payday anyway, and could use the extra cash i thought that id spent. Well lo and behold, guess what shows up on my door two days later, after Id paid some bills with that money? The order, and as soon as it was confirmed as delivered, the draft came out of my account, and caused my account to overdraft by a 1.12. Which in turn cost me almost 100.00 bucks to my bank. Partially my fault, I know, but theyd told me there was no order, so needless to say, i was a little more than heated with them...

Sucks about that overdraft, man. BB is odd about that -- most vendors charge your card immediately.

I will also say that I had to use BB's Live Chat to sort out a problem with a part they didn't send. It was a whole passel of crank bearing shells for a GS500, so I can sort of understand how one could have gotten missed out of a whole bunch of identical little boxes with nearly identical part numbers. But I was still dreading the ordeal.

I was quite shocked about five minutes later when the problem was resolved. What? That's IT? No fighting?

The missing part was ordered immediately, and showed up four or five days later. :)
