A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Hey all. I just helped a friend put a new electrosport stator and H775 reg/rec in. Job went fairly flawless until we started the bike. Grinding noise from under the stator cover. I'm guessing the poles are being sanded down. Anyone ever had this issue with their stators before? it was too late for us to pull the cover back off again, as soon as we do I'll report on the issue.

Clearances are tight, you have to watch how you reinstall the chrome cable clamp under the cover.

I've bought 2 recently. One from Quebec on ebay and the friend I was helping with this one he bought from PartZilla along with his stator.

Thanks for the good tip. He took the cover off and sure enough the clamp was not put in flat enough. Straightened things out and slapped it back together, good as new. Actually it's better than new now with the Electrosport stator and Shindengen reg/rec! Another one to be on the road for years to come :)

Good to hear; so no other electro sport quality concerns on the stator wind?
This combination should have boosted the voltage some at idle.

This is the second Electorsport I've helped people with and both have looked just fine. We didn't do a voltage check but if I get a chance I will just out of curiosity.
