A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I started a bit of a build log on the old site which I let slip I'm afraid.
But here's a couple of pics of the near finished bike (not running yet), also demonstrates that the sun does shine in the UK.........................briefly.

wow!!

That thing is just flat out BAD ASS!!! more pics please!!

Fantastic Work

ps: Steve did you use the PC680 battery on your bike if yes did you do any other mods to the electrical system, i would like to use a thiner battery on my project http://www.odysseybatteries.com/battery/pc680series.htm

Yes I have a PC680 that I'm going to use but is not wired in yet as some of the cables need extending, it uses ring terminals so I don't believe anything else would need changing on the wiring, I have also replaced the generator and rec/reg with items from Electrex and fitted a Dyna S ignition.
I had this tray made to locate the electrics out of sight.

Wow, great work.

That pickup truck must cost you a fortune on gas, er um...petrol.

I love the bike, looks amazing. One thing you might want to think about is that tray looks awsome but since it is a tray it may trap and hold water which would be bad for all the electronics. Do you have some hidden drain holes in it some where?

You have a Dodge pickup? Are they common in the UK? Surprised to see that....

Not very /at all.
It belongs to my dad he's always been into them the one in the pic is for sale at the mo' and he's parked it at my place for now, he's also got a 2500 GMC and a Blazer.

Will this battery work with stock setup? The only aftermarket electronic part that i might afford for my Katana is the Dyna Coils:D

In what respect, are you concerned about it burning out components or not fitting in the stock battery box? or other.

What front end is that? The radial mounted brakes make me think it's like 2004 or newer, which also means you probably had to do some massaging of the steering stem bearings. How are you running your speedo?

Front end is
CBR954 yokes and stem
GSXR 750 K4 forks
R1 calipers
Tl 1000s clip ons

Not sure what to do about the speedo yet, if at all
