Hey guys. I am rebuilding the carbs on My 81 gs450. I think they are mikuni bs32 carbs but I'm not sure. Is a bs carb and a cv carb the same? I am taking them completely apart, cleaning them and replacing l gaskets/rubber. I have 2 sets of the same carberators, so I'm taking them both apart, and picking and choosing the best looking parts to build a carb set. I want my carberators to work near perfect, are there some things that I should replace with brand new parts(jets... Ect.). What's the best way to get these carbs spotless(carb spray, dip, ultrasonic, someone told me lemon juice?). I bought a kit from cycle orings, the old seals for the needles seat are a paper gasket, the new ones are a rubber oring. When I put the oring on, it holds the needle seat up slightly higher, is that bad? Or can I just a just my floats to accommodate. When I'm putting my carbs back together, what do I need to pay attention to and how do I find the specs to how far I screw in all my jets and mixture screw?
