Well I feel as if I?m getting close to solving the problem I have been having with this bike (1987 gs 450l).
When I went to adjust the idle mixture I tried running the bike one cylinder at a time. The "right" cylinder ran fine with the other one unplugged. When I tried the reverse the bike would not start or idle on the "left" cylinder until I gave it about 1/8 throttle then it would idle fine.
I guess it?s time to adjust sync. Anybody have any suggestions for how to do it with this bike the adjustment screw is in a very tight place and at an odd angle
