how do I tell the difference in the 530/630

I am combining the 1983s and maintaining the 81

year / model / teeth on rear sprocket
1983 750E T50
1983 750ES T43 - says 530/43 so I'm guessing it has a 530 chain
1981 750L T40

The E has the largest diameter

The ES has a smaller diameter than the E

The L is between the E and the ES

The L is only slightly smaller than the E which surprise me since it counts 10 teeth less.

It is! Anything harsher could was out the grease if it gets to it.

In reasonable quantnties. Put some on a rag, wipe. Don't soak. Kerosene will swell rubber up to twice its normal size if you leave it in overnight.
