    A note to old forum members...
    I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

    Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

    Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is for placing reviews for parts, accessories, gear and service as it relates to your GS motorcycle. The key here is "GS Related". There is a bit of latitude here but we don't want to see a review on Maytag washers just because that's what you use to clean your riding jacket in.

    Keep your review as factual as possible and please refrain from personal attacks. Posted articles will be reviewed by the Editors and may be removed at their discretion.

    So let's make this a useful addition to the forum! A special pat on the back goes to Hap Call for coming up with this great idea.

  • Returning Visitors

    If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

    If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Hey,
I did some research yesterday for oem parts. I found a few places that have the oem part finders with the schematics. the two best were. www.Bikebandit.com and http://www.prosourcemotorsports.com/fiche_select.asp

I found that prosource had much better prices, but their shipping is more $
Bike bandit is more expensive on their parts but you can have it shipped cheaper, so for me my order was big enough that the cheaper parts offset the extra shipping cost. so I went with prosource.

Anyone out there found parts any cheaper than this please let me know thanks

Alpha Sports has a parts finder and decent prices, somewhere between Ron Ayers and Bike Bandit. Powersports Pro has the best prices as I recall. Try all three and see what you find.

I checked all of these out. The one I mentioned above still has the best prices out of all of them.

I had to get the air box intake boots. shown in the airbox diagram #'s 11 12 I think. All those other places range from like $10 and up Powersports pro had them for like almost $12. I got them from pro source for like just under $8 dollars. I realize $2 isn't much but if you get 4 of them its $8 plus any other parts you buy. I don't know much about their service cause I just ordered the parts yesterday they did e-mail me a confirmation # and stuff so I will write more when the parts come in.
