All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Chicken Strips..

That corner is a downhill decreasing radius which starts back uphill to it is hidden apex. So, there is a lot of trail braking in that corner and I went in a little to hot for myself and locked the front while trail braking.
WOW, just watched vid clip, glad you just ended up with your bell rung. It's amazing the lack of traction when you get that far off the racing line isn't it. Looks like a great track.

Apparently none of you ride in Illinois. The only place to lean a bike here is on the kick stand :( ;at least in Northeastern Illinois, where I live.

And yet the southern kettle is less than 100 country miles away. Besides even urbanites have ramps.

OK, you talked me into it. :o

Not bad, for a Wingabago. :D

By the way, those tires were put on in August and have 11,800 miles on them. :-\\\

Got your money's worth out of that one.

Edit: they have a chain of self serve salvage yards out this way called "Pick-a-Part", and almost all the bikes have tires like that. Guess there's a reason those bikes were there (after crashing out anyway).

Everyone knows bald tyres grip better in the dry. Hurhur. tbh I got a terrible problem with baldy tyres. Whilst it's good for pics and stupid posturing jokes like that, it's actually embarrassing and stupid. It's a mental block centred around your point.. you gotta get yr money's worth out of 'em. Stupid eh? But man its a hard habit to break. oh god I've got that fabulous CHicago song in my head now :|

I used to live in Oregon where my commute to work was twisty-rich. I have to say that I got a little spoiled by it.

Sadly, with a new baby at home, riding the slab for 100 miles each way to go have fun is not really something I can do yet. The days when I could just take off for a day are behind me for a while. Sometimes you have to take what you can get. I have a couple of cousins who always show up to family functions on their bikes while the wives take the kids in the car. I used to make fun of them. Now I get it. That's the only riding they can do.
