A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

here i am on my bike

The bike is looking great. But having to stretch up and forward to those bars doesn't look like a very comfortable posture. Have you got a set of 6 inch risers with a 6 inch draw back? I reckon it would be a heck of a lot more comfortable.

Really like the wheels. They look real cool with the white around the outside. Might pinch that idea.

That's a very interesting bike. I love the rear end treatment and where you're going with the wheels and suspension. The fat bob tank looks out of proportion to me right now but I'm thinking it'll look a lot different when it's painted and looking more part of the bike as a whole. My hat is definitely off to your fabrication skills! Very good job so far and good luck with the rest of the build.

Bob a rear fender and stick 'er on there. Besides looking better it'll save ya some serious hash marking...
yes there is a rear fender but the first mount set up didnt work it will get there

Where did u get those handlebars from I really do dig them , kinda styling my gs1000 like that

so i added 3" to the swing arm to allow a fender to be added.

First of all love the build!! Question: Did you fabricate the froward controls or were they bolt ons?

thanks, everything on my bike i fabricated. they were quite easy to build but i am need to build a new foot peg mount these are solid mounted and i have had one close call the peg touched was not very fun so now i am making a flex mount for the pegs.

i need you to make me a set of them bars most definatley, only taller though lol

so i put the muffler back on trying to get the tune right with still no luck then it hit me (when my coil went out) its electrical. so now it sits waiting for me to save enough cash to buy a dyna 2000 set up. but heres a pic of the muffler
