... of the four legged kind.
On my ride to work today, two yearling deer popped out of the ditch and tried to make my day early. Lucky for me, I was travelling west bound, so with the sun to my back, I was able to pick them up quickly when I rounded the corner, but it was still late to hit the brakes hard. I just gave a little gas, and shot for the space between them. Missed them both. Just a little rush. MSF training came into play. I didn't even think of what I was supposed to do. I just did it. If I would hit the brakes hard, I know I would have hit one or both of them. They were not looking for me, they just wanted to cross the road.
Looking out for God's little critters.
