While working to get my 750 road ready (just rebuilt the carbs so now I'm "the man") I discovered that one of my ignition coils has tapped out. In an effort to continue toward getting the bike started and tuning the carbs, I threw one of the coils from my KZ650 project on my GS. Long story short, it runs but the coil from the KZ doesn't allow my tank to seat properly. Not a big deal because I knew this is a temporary fix.
My question to you real motorcycle gurus is what my best bang for buck is on new coils. I think I'm going to just replace both of them right now instead of just the spent one. Is there anything wrong with a 5 ohm dyna coil?
