A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Hello, I have one doubt... could I fit a complete exhaust system from a Gsx750 ET 80-82 in the same model but a 1100 bike?
Has the pipes the same diameter?
I'm not sure if the pipes will fit fine inside the motor.

Also I would like to know if any company makes new 4-2 exhaust systems for my GSX1100EX, searching by google I find 4-1 but not 4-2

Thanks in advance

Hello,
Nobody tried to fit an original and complete exhaust system from a GSX750 ET EX in a GSX1100 ET EX or vice versa? Are they both the same size?
Thank you

I have done it. I bought a gsx750 exhaust system out of the UK and installed it on my 1100ET. A few years later i picked up an 1100 system out of the USA. The only difference is the OD of the header pipes 41.5 for 1100 and 38.5 for the 750. The header pipe connection into cylinder head is the same diameter for both. I subsequently installed 1100 system onto my 1100 and moved 750 system onto my 750EZ. Except i have 1100 outer pipes and 750 inner pipes on my 1100 and opposite on my 750. I did it because the chrome is beter on 750 inners. No performance issues either. I can add photos another day if you want.

Hello ensure, thank you very much for your answer. Finally, few days ago, by my own risk, I bought a complete GSX750 exhaust system from a boy from Nederland.
I received them last week. When I have a little free time I will try to install in my GSX1100. Glad to know they are compatible between 750 and 1100 :D
I would appreciate it when you could add some photos of yours

Sorry, took a while to get photos. Here are shots of mounting bracket for both the 750 and 1100 and a shot of pipes from front. 11000 outer pipes and 750 inner pipes. You can see they both fit into 1100 motor cylinder head.750-mount.jpg
