Me and my father (he has a vstrom) were going to go for an 800 mile adventure as he called it and travel from tricities up to moses lake ( i live in tricities hes in moses) then go down to yakima over chinook pass which i might add is UH MAY ZING!!
! then down the back side and follow highway 123 through the ranier national forest and stay at skamokawa campground outside lakeview washington. well when we hit pack wood my bike started "lurching" i ignored it (stupid me
) and continued on. We woke up the next moring from camping and started on our way i figured my bike would quit misfiring and lurching but it didnt it in fact got worse, as we come around this corner there is about half mile of traffic backed up and i look ahead and notice someone laying in the road. we drive up there and turns out this lady was following to close on her harley and ran into one of their other riders and laid her bike over and had some back pain, so me being an EMT and my dad a Paramedic we decided to help them out and we talked to a volunteer firefighter from the area who was going to let us use his garage to change my spark plugs cause of the misfiring,so we change the plugs and they are normal colored and head out on our way, then my bike starts missing and ends with a totally dead cylinder by the time we hit Naselle washington
. i am extremely frustrated by now because it is around 400 miles from moses lake and i have a broken bike!!!!
so we called my mother who got in the truck and came to pick us up! 6.5 hours later the rescue effort was accomplished and my bike was loaded and our 10 day trip ended on day #2..... super downer but i highly recommend fort ebey state park for a campground if there is anybody out there near that area ( we stayed the night in whidbey island my brother lives there) i lost all hope in my bike and was going to sell it but i think i am going to tear it down and rebuild the motor so i have a bike to ride by next summer!
although i have no idea what im doing
but thats what i have this place for:dancing:
