A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

hey guys found the corbins for the old 1100 never seen a pan for one of these think it would fit the 750???

If you're talking about the Corbin seat for an '82-'83 GS1100E, I don't think it's going to fit the '80-'82 GS750E. If they make one for the '80-'81 1100 it should.
By the way, I had a Corbin on my '82 1100 and it was terrible, really uncomfortable. It was hard and sat too low. I've used them on other bikes though and loved them.

well just got a reply from Corbin ....the seat will not fit a 750   but on the other hand they offered to build me one if I had a pan :D :? they said if I sent them the pan in the slow season they would do it ....they gave me thier phone # to call them to talk about price and stuff so I guess I`ll go from there but there is a guy in town that does classic car interior resto`s so I`ll talk to him too

I have a corbin on my 831100 anit is cut low and doesnt have much padding--in my case my short legs appreciate the seat--i had to lower the shocks and install asmaller front wheel to be able to put my feet flat on the ground with my riding boots on-- you nordic/germanic types are blessed

I've been seeing a lot of customer complaints about Corbin in Motorcycle Consumer News. Seems they have a problem getting their seats out in a reasonable amount of time. Have you looked into Sargent motorcycle seats? They'll utilize your stock seat pan and give you a wide selection of materials and colors. In addition, I think you'll find their prices are lower and you're sure to see a quicker turn-around. A friend of mine has one on his Bandit 1200, it's comfortable and looks great.
