If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Upside down handle bars, worthlessly cushioned seat, tiny gas tank, loud mufflerless pipes, and questionable build quality. Oh yea. That's definitely worth $2000! Bargain even.

I'd have to say, it isn't your cookie cutter variety, actually, can't believe I'm going to say it, very creative, if it had rear suspension, maybe a candidate for a Spielberg or Lucas prop. Very movie like....not everyday practical.

I can agree with the creativity and movie prop-like design. Oh and there is a monoshock on the rear, you can see it in the first picture (red spring)

Aside from some of the bizarre details, I actually like this bike. I don't care for the headlight, and location and size/shape of the gas tank leave a lot to be desired. With a standard type headlight/gas tank and a seat with a bit more padding, I think it would look much better. I wonder if you could put a gas tank in the area where the airbox used to be. I imagine you'd have to use a fuel pump if you did. I'm not sure you could approach the capacity of a standard gas tank that way, but it would be a better place to put the weight of the gas, as opposed to above the rear wheel. I wonder how effective that ram air is.

If you mean it runs rich at low speed, and lean at high speed? It is most efficient...

Most of the pieces are there, I agree. What throws my meter out the window, is the futuristic shapes, thrown over a clasic upright twin, and the SPOKED WHEELS !

Just isn't coming together, for me... :-\\\

Yeah, your right, I see it...with a little larger fuel capacity, I could see riding this back in the hills of WV, with more seat cushion of course, also, I could see myself leaving it in the first ditch the first sign of trouble it gave me also:rolleyes: And it's not a classic GS, a DR350 is meant for abuse:p

Are those rear shocks he's using as a "springer" front end?
Quite possible. It appears to be a version of a leading link suspension. The forks will come more or less straight down, and, where we have the wheel mounted on an axle, will be pivots for two arms going forward to the wheel axle. On those arms will be the lower mounts for the shocks, the upper mounts appear to be at the cross brace at the fender. Really not that bad of a setup.

It has been done on several bikes in the past, click HERE to see the Wikipedia article on front suspension. Scroll down just a bit, you will see the leading link photos.

"chopper". The bike is a CX500 Honda. But I don't see any"chopping" going on there. Looks stock.:)

Actually, it's a CX500C, the C being the equivalent of the Suzuki L models

C as in "shoper"?

Does it take me directly to the grocery store?
