DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Cafe Racer project bike. Runs and shifts very clean. It has a clear title, new clubman bars, new chrome pod filters, new headlight, kikker 2 into 1 exhuast(new would be what I askin for the bike by itself,if you could find one)
It also comes with another tank(theyre well liked and hard to come by) Ive got to many projects, dont have the time and Im also moving soon so I cant take it all with me. It needs new tires,a new battery, brakes, petcock rebuild kit,and a little paint(about a weekends worth of work)and youd have a killer little bike. Ive got it price low to sell quick so Im firm on the price.Serious buyers only please.$300 cash (again this is a PROJECT)

Mechanical skills required to use a sawzall and hammer?
No way.

Did you see anywhere his asking price for this $50 parts bike?

He had it posted for what he had in it...Let's see, Cost of the bike plus the CDI. That's $100 in labor plus the $80 part. So it was listed for, using his 6th grade mathematical skills.....$175

Those two GS 300 guys should get together and sell parts to each other or something.

<sigh> Here's another all-encompassing example ... spelling, grammar, punctuation, run-on sentences...PLUS all the kids came and he "dont get out on them that much anymore"!

They live among us.....

I'd trade in a minute! Gotta be a GOOD one, though...

Here's a fine piece of welded scrap, freshly hauled from a shed that he will trade for a GOOD 4 wheeler!!
Nuthin' a few thousand hours of wrenchwork wouldn't transform into... well... a heap of dangerous scrap.

The seats arent bolted down but all it needs is a wheel cylinder to be driveable!!! I would think a seat thats bolted down so your azz doesnt get thrown out would be a very key essential as well...It just boggles the mind what some people try to sell once they realise they are way in over their heads and dont have the technical skills to have even started the damn thing in the beginning!!!

Them there's some fine lookin' welds too, Clem.....

But hey, if he's offering to pay $800 for someone to haul it away, why not? :-\\\

How to you stay on the seat?

How did he manage to do 177 miles on that?

DP
Does the 4x6 come with it? :-k

Where do you strap it on so you have it when you stop?

Highway Glider, it's a 2008 model, so he's had almost 3 years of bar-hopping to rack up those (high) miles. :p
