A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

VW Sandrail/trike project- huge price drop - $750 (Arlington Vermont)

00q0q_aoNBW0lVRPF_600x450.jpg

1960s Volkswagen Sandrail frame/ 1980's Suzuki GS 550 Triple 2 Stroke Motorcycle.

Was there an accompanying ad selling a VW powered trike with a Suzuki front end?

You gotta figure the engine is modified. If it can push that windshield through the air with that guy on it, must be close to 200 rear wheel HP.

The backrest, alone, might be worth hundreds to SOMEBODY:-s

It looks like he bolted a battery powered fan on the back. :D Maybe leaning back and having cold air blowing up yer butt is worth a couple of hundred to someone. LOL

Hey - as a "full-figured" fellow, I resemble that remark!

As to hp - if my 850 can haul my large behind, my not-so-large lady and 3 days of clothes, while pushing the Windjammer down the road at highway speeds, all without breathing real hard - that 1100 will do just fine.

Ditto that.

I am not quite as "full-figured" as some of the rest of you, but my gravitational attraction is a bit enhanced, simply due to my height.
Mrs. Steve's gravitation attraction is also a bit enhanced (but not due to height ).

Click on the link in my sig, you will see my 850 somewhat early in its 750-mile, 3-day tour around New England a few years ago.
The fairing is not a Windjammer, :dancing: but the bike is also wearing saddlebags and trunk.

NO complaints about power with the bike. :D

Selling An Authentic Man Card - $3800 (Farmington)

00e0e_2Drv4HD2THH_600x450.jpg

condition: excellent

There comes a point in every mans life where he feels the need to pass down some history or perhaps a legacy, this time is now. This pictured baby is a fully licensed man card that makes Chuck Norris break a sweat.

The word "Star" is scrawled across the gas tank. That "Star" is the chrome that lines this bike, causing car crashes and giving women the vapours. This isn't just a Yamaha V-Star, it's a brilliant machine to give your old lady her first, second and third heart attacks. The 650 cc's of V-Twin power harnessed between your legs is enough to drop every man and woman's panties in a nine block radius. The purr of the engine will make anyone riding with you wet, but roaring down the highway will bring even the most stubborn to full, climactic, ear-shattering orgasm.

You probably couldn't handle all the envious stares and fainting women this 2009 Yamaha V-Star 650 Custom causes. It's traveled 11,400 miles of Arkansas, Missouri and Oklahoma road at about 48 mpg, and it's looking for the next 11,400 miles.

It's a fully paid masterpiece of Japanese engineering, and, for the low sum of $3,800, I am giving it to you.
Yeah - he's giving it to us alright. Giving a line of B.S.

When I got to the "650cc's" part I stopped reading. I mean, it was bad (funny) enough when I thought it was a full-sized engine...:confused:

"Man Card"? I think not. More like a Cub Scout card.

Strike that. A Girl Scout card.

Strike that. A Brownie card. All it needs is a sash, a skirt and knee socks (probably in the saddle bags).
